Antique - Double Fowler Circa 1750 By Canon Tordu of Paris .24 Ga [ this firearm was originally flint but later profesionally converted to perc. 34" double barrels are in beautiful plum brown state w/ elaborate gold filled engraving in 1 st 10 inches from breech and huge star burst pattern around front sight, iron nose cap trigger guard and finial are elaborately engraved as is the tang on iron butt plate, beautiful figured walnut stock has a French style cheek piece, pistol grip extension bears the carved figurehead of fierce mystical animal, stock and forend checkered, locks crisp and correct, tang surrounded by elaborate carving, piping around lock plates, silver escutcheons with unknown initials just rear of tang, overall condition : barrel and metal furniture appears v- good, stock and wood v - good w/ minor repairs ] Ser # Nil ANTIQUE NO PAL REQ
