Non-Restricted shotgun Ithaca model Hammerless Crass M, 12Ga two shots hinge break, w/ bbl length 30" [Choked markings include (NONE SEEN), bore diameter as measured 6" from muzzle (L .738, R .750), muzzle diameter (L .721, R .727)] [Lots 389-399 have been consigned by the estate of an accomplished lower B.C. mainland gunsmith. Assume each lots may or may not have had restoration or refinishing work to wood and metal. Included are the hand writing notes. Blued Damascus barrels and receiver. Single bead sight. Hardwood stock with attached recoil pad. Checkered semi pistol grip and forend. Matching serial numbers on receiver, barrels and forend. Other markings include "2, 12, D, PAT'D APR. 10 1888" on water table. Scrolled ribbon engraved "ITHACA HAMMERLESS' on both sides of receiver etc. Mechanically including hinge, lock up, auto-set safety, triggers etc. appear to function reasonably well. Overall bluing worn approximately 60% leaving gray patina. Front and rear of stock are non-matching in patina. Likely from once fitted slip on recoil pad, not included. Use, handling and storage marks to wood and metal including some deeper gouges in the wood. See gunsmith's notes in image gallery] serial # 14228, PAL required Description subject to change. Full payment for purchases, including buyers premium and taxes is due within 48 hours of the auction completion.
